Wells Kitchen Renovation
Before
After
Matt from Rocky Coast Construction introduced us to his clients in Wells, ME. After moving up from Connecticut, they decided to renovate their family house and make it their own. Their goal for the renovation was to create an open-concept design because the living room and kitchen felt closed off and dated.
We worked on the kitchen layout with Matt to make structural changes, including knocking down the wall between the kitchen and living room to open the space. We removed the hallway closet to extend the kitchen perimeter by a few feet. Additionally, we replaced the kitchen window and moved it a few inches to the left to add a lazy Susan cabinet in the corner in a way that didn’t look or feel cramped.
The clients liked the design concept of their existing kitchen but wanted to maximize their storage and brighten up the space. We designed their kitchen in our Mid-Continent Signature line. The door style is Brawny FO with a Coconut paint finish for the kitchen perimeter and a Serious Gray paint finish for the island. The selected countertop was Calacatta Gold quartz that Surface Creations fabricated and installed. Hardware is from Top Knobs, brushed satin nickel Morris pulls.
